| Team Bio: | Chicken Pasties has been traveling to Poultry Days each year since 1996, originally as a womens team in the days of the womens division, then the chicks of Nashville integrated with the men. However, the Chicken Pasty theme and name has remained with great individually-made home-sewn jerseys, covering our chicken breasts. |
| Team History: | Chicken Pasties has always been a very competitive and spirited team, playing hard and trying to do well. But in 2007, something strange happened – we actually did well, really well. We went 3-1 on Saturday dominating in all 3 wins and losing a close game we lead most of the way to the #1 seed. On Sunday, we went in as the 16 seed in the A pool and proceeded to knock off the #1 overall seed, Dixie Chickens on double-game point. We lost in the quarters to WWBCD, the eventual champs. After unprecedented success last year, Chicken Pasties 2008 should be very similar but with a few key additions from Deliverance (3rd at Coed Regionals in 2007), FLO, and Duel. |
